YASKAWA AC Drive GA501 Series
In 2019, Yaskawa launched the GA500 series. It is a compact high-performance AC drive developed under the concepts of “versatility,” “ease of use,” and “reliability,” and optimized for a wide range of applications including general industrial machinery and equipment.
The GA500 series has enhanced machine performance through innovative permanent magnet (PM) motor control technology. In addition, its predictive failure diagnosis function enables IoT compatibility and contributes to improved production management efficiency by reducing unplanned downtime and supporting continuous operation of machinery and equipment.
The new GA501 series is a compact AC drive based on the GA500 platform and features industrial Ethernet communication as standard. By supporting Ethernet-based control
networks that are increasingly adopted
worldwide and enhancing data connectivity with AC servo drives and robotic systems, the GA501 series enables advanced data analysis across entire production cells composed of machines and robots. Through these capabilities, Yaskawa contributes to the realization of customer-driven smart factory initiatives.
