YASKAWA Electric Corporation (Head Office: Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, Japan; Representative Director, Chairman of the Board and President: Hiroshi Ogasawara ) announces the launch of the MOTOMAN-GP215L, GP400L, GP700(Payload capacity: 215 kg, maximum reach 3114 mm/ Payload capacity: 400 kg, maximum reach 3718 mm/ Payload capacity: 700 kg, maximum reach 2845 mm) which are designed for large workpiece handling applications.

These products address the increasing size and weight of workpieces in various manufacturing sites, including the automotive industry. In addition, they contribute to improving the efficiency of transportation operations and expanding automation by combining a wide range of motion with high wrist load tolerance.

　In recent years, components such as car bodies, die-cast parts, and battery cases are becoming larger and heavier in the automotive industry, while the need to transport cells in bulk is growing in the battery manufacturing process.

　Furthermore, the demand for transporting large workpieces is expanding in areas such as construction machinery, building materials, and processing jigs.

　Against this background, robots are required to have a wider range of motion and a higher tolerance for wrist load than ever before.

　To meet these demands, we have developed a new model with an expanded range of motion and wrist tolerance, offering significantly superior performance compared to previous models.

　These products expand our lineup of robots suitable for handling heavy objects, while also improving the flexibility of equipment design and layout, contributing to further automation and increased production efficiency.

　・Wrist tolerance: Up to 110% improvement compared to conventional classes.

(3) GP700 is a top-class, high-load specification designed for heavy loads.

　・Maximum reach: 2845 mm, the same as previous models.

　・Wrist tolerance: Up to 60% improvement compared to conventional classes.
